Thank you so much for these daily "minder" messages. I can use all the support I can get lately! I have had a question, and reading today's message (10-14-2008) it reinforced that question again: I understand the "idea" of the shift, but I'm still a little lost on the mechanics. I like the concept of breaking the day into smaller segments, but what exactly (or really, how...) do I to facilitate this shift, especially with the breakdown of the day into smaller increments? What is it that I'm supposed to do?
As always, your time and thoughts are profoundly appreciated!!! Laura [Jovius] Breaking down your day into smaller segments would look something like this: when you first awaken you share your gratitude and set your intentions for the next action, which could be showering, or taking care of small children, an elderly adult, etc. Set your intention for the best for all involved. Be grateful as if you already had what you want to happen. Then, do the same for the next action you are stepping into after that. Suggest to the Universe what it is you expect from the next portion of your day. Continue in this manner all through the entire day and even when you lay your head down, you can intend for a restful, refreshing and healing sleep. There is much information available for this process. The more you use it, the smoother and easier your time will be spent. Ask for what you want, do it in smaller segments and know that your focus on this matter will enable you to master this system, should you choose to do so. This is about living mindfully. You are the master of your own reality -- and we thank you..
