Often it is mentioned by book authors and others that this earthly human existence we experience is just an illusion or a dream.  Could this be explained more, to help understand this concept or statement?

Everything in your current experience has been created for you, by you.  A dream is one way to look at this reality.  Whatever you can possibly imagine can be true for you.  You will experience what you focus on.  This is a law and a truth, in your physical reality.  Everyone else in your physical space is creating as well.  They have their own creative juices flowing and can easily experience an event very differently than you do, even though you were in the same place at the same time.  They are living their own dream, their own reality filtered through their own perspective.  Looking at situations differently is a very easy illustration of the illusions you can present for yourselves.  Be kind to you.  Allow your dreams, your illusions, to be healthy and rewarding.  Look to your joy.  You can just as easily experience love as you can pain..
