Subject: Criticism and Judgement (04, April 2010)

Dear Jovius,

You say that, “criticism and judgment are your mirrors.”  And, I don’t fully understand that concept?

For instance, when Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple, what was it about himself that he did not like?

Caren (Huntsville, Utah, USA)

Criticism and judgment are absolutely your mirrors, as is any other situation, or experience, that creates controversy, or emotion within you.  You learn by what is thrust in your face.  Sometimes (not so elaborately), situations occur for you to learn.  When you do not "get it," those situations become more frequent, or more monumental.  If you choose not to "see" or learn, you continue on the spiral, or the "merry go round."  As far as Jesus goes, the great teaching entity you refer to as Jesus we feel quite positive would have an answer for you, if it were so that he actually had that experience. We would suggest you ask him how that situation was for him.  Teaching and learning is what this physical life is all about.  Just ask..
