Ego can turn your world upside down..

You need your ego for basic survival and it is the part of you that is only about you.  It is also that part which keeps you separate.  When you allow this part to run wild and take on a life of its own, you become more and more separated from who you really are. 

It is just that simple.  When you become so invested in the physical part of you and choose not to embrace the real you, you sever yourself from that which is real and true to you and all that is.
