Dear Jovius,

I've been wondering lately how these two ideas are reconciled? 

On the one hand, we have the notion of desire, me, me, me, what I want, and the general instruction is focus on it, think about it, feel it, desire it....  hence summon it and create it.  On the other hand there is the notion of unconditional universal service accompanied by the rule which is - if I seek to serve my family, the universe will support me only so much, if I seek to help my community the support will be larger, if I think country-wide then the universe will support me according to that scale.  If the wanting is just for me, I am wondering does that count?  I have read several sources communicating with the non-physical that do not support the idea that wanting for yourself will be supported by the universe.  I think you get my drift with the question. 

Perhaps you have already spoken to this and I am not aware of the message, so I apologize in advance if this is something you have already addressed.

Taking care of yourself is taking care of all.  When you place emphasis on yourself out of love, not selfishness, you are taking care of the whole for you are the entirety.  It is the same for others as everyone carries the vibration of all that is.  They are every bit the whole as you are.  Whether you focus on taking care of others or taking care of you, it is the same.  Keep in mind that it is important not to neglect yourself if your focus shifts to others and vice versa.  This is not as complicated as it may seem.  It is all about living from your true self and sharing love.  We focus on self love because when you are in a place of loving you, you are also in a place of loving all.  You are so very special and such great spirits.  We cheer you on and want only that which is truly joyful for you in your experiences on the earthly plane..
